What is Home Experience?

Home Experience spells out the critical maintenance tasks and necessary requirements in order to properly care for, and add value to, your home. Additionally, it provides the specific, warranty information for the manufactured products installed in your home. it provides community information as well as specific Homeowners Association documents. It is your personal link to home resource management. Your personal Home Experience account includes

  • Personalized Maintenance Calendar and Schedules
  • Homecare tips
  • Access to all your product warranties that came with your home
  • Monthly maintenance reminders via email
  • Information about your neighborhood and community
  • Some communities include Homeowner Association documentation as well.

 

Why am I receiving emails from homex@compendiainc.com?

These monthly emails contain specific maintenance to-dos based on the age, climate and move-in date of your home. Each email has links to your account whereby you can view a complete and comprehensive list of maintenance activities.

 

Why should I use this resource?

Following the tips and best practices found in Home Experience will keep your home looking and performing its best. It is a proven fact that preventative maintenance adds years, even decades to the life of a home

The information you will find in your maintenance content has been thoroughly vetted by forensic professionals in several fields and is specifically suited to the climate of your community. The manufactured products warranties give you a specific accounting of what the builder installed in your home as well as the reference to contact the manufacturer directly should you have a warranty issue.

In the coming months there will be other user friendly features that will make Home Experience the single best resource for maintaining the investment in your home.

 

What does it cost me?

Nothing. Your subscription has been bought and paid for by your builder. There is no catch, there are no hidden fees. Your builder recognizes the investment you have made in your home and simply wishes for you to have the tools to best maintain it.

Why do you need my email and close of escrow date?

Home Experience uses your email as your account log in. It is also used to send you monthly maintenance reminders and homecare tips. And because certain maintenance and warranty-related tasks are time sensitive, your date of escrow serves as a baseline date to send your personalized task list to you every month

 

How do I know my account is activated?

When Compendia receives your email address, your will automatically be registered. You will receive an authentication email that provides instruction on how to activate your account. It is as easy as clicking on a hyperlink that will bring you to the Home Experience home page.

 

How often should I log in?

As often as you wish. Home Experience provides a great deal of information about your home. It includes information about your warranties, about your HOA and about your neighborhood. It is a great resource for your home management. And soon, Compendia will be introducing new features that will add even more value to your home experience..

 

What is my User Name, Password?

In most cases your User Name is your email address. When your account is first activated, an email generated by Home Experience provides you a random alpha-numeric password. When you log in for the first time, you may change your password to any alpha-numeric sequence by clicking on the My Profile link at the top right of the Home Experience screen.
